Martha Carmen Monclova's Obituary
Our beloved mother passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020. She was 77 years old.
Martha – or Tia Carmela, as she was known to friends - was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Martha was the biological mother of two children. However, many people considered Martha their surrogate mother. She was an amazing, loving, caring, thoughtful, understanding, beautiful, extra special mom and will greatly be missed by all who have come in contact with her.
Martha was a longtime Avon district manager in the city of Tijuana, Mexico. Martha and her husband Alejandro Monclova (RIP) were members of Rotary International, in this role Martha enjoyed helping others, and until her last days, Martha cared deeply for her family and neighbors.
Martha’s health was failing for years; few people knew the extent to which she struggled. Her joy for life and indomitable spirit kept her pushing through the pain.
Martha is survived by her children Alejandro his wife Esperanza, Maritza her husband David, and four grandchildren Alejandro Jr., Omar, Paola and Ivan.
