Marvel Eugene Helton's Obituary
Marvel Eugene Helton, 84 of Tucson, went to his heavenly home December 21, 2014, surrounded by his family. Born August 14, 1930 as first son to Elihue Jess and Virginia Ruth Helton in Cherryvale, Kansas. He grew up in Coffeyville, Kanas and married Virginia Ann Nichols on April 11, 1954. He served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956 in the Korean War. He and his wife moved to Tucson, Arizona in 1982 and started his own Heavy Equipment Rental Company. His favorite thing to do was flying small engine aircraft and the most important thing to him was his family.
He is preceded in death by his father, Elihue Jess Helton, mother, Virginia Ruth Helton, brother, Lewis Helton, daughter, Marsha Jean Brown and grandson, Christopher James Franklin. Survived by wife, Virginia Ann Helton; daughters, Anna Denise Willhite of Tucson, Barbara Jean (James) Franklin of Owasso, OK; grandchildren, Angela Dawn (Josh) Lozinsky, Jennifer Jewell Willhite (Roberto Alegria), Lacie Deann Franklin, Kristi Brown, Mindy Brown, Kirby Brown; great-grandchildren, Micah Elihue Willhite, Kryslynn Nicole Franklin, Preston Lee Lozinsky and Brice Lee Lozinsky. Visitation will be held Friday, December 26, 2014 from 3 – 7 PM, EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile. Graveside service, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 10:30 AM with Military Honors at Evergreen Cemetery.
