Marvel Lea Stein's Obituary
STEIN, Marvel Lea, 87, of Tucson, died October 4, 2012. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years Isadore Stein. Mrs. Stein grew up in Elgin, IL and soon after meeting Isadore Stein at a B'nai B'rith dance, they married and lived in Escanaba, MI until they retired to Tucson in 1985. Survived by sons William A. (Candis) Stein of Tucson and Neal Richard (Linda) Stein of Oshkosh, WI; grandson Daniel Stein; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Stein was a lifetime member of ORT, Eastern Star, and Hadassah. She loved the Tucson Mountains and was known for her very endearing smile. She also was an avid reader and loved to play Mahjong. She was a strong willed woman that believed in her convictions. Graveside service Friday, October 5, 2012, 3:00 P.M., Congregation Or Chadash section of Evergreen Cemetery, with Rabbi Thomas Louchheim officiating.
