Mary Margaret Curry's Obituary
Daughter of a West Virginia coal miner and a devoted stay at home mother, Mary Margaret graduated from Morris Harvey College and obtained a Master’s degree from the University of Arizona in Education. She taught at West Logan (West Virginia) Grade School and Tully Grade School (Tucson, Arizona) for over 52 years.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Bruce Curry (1970), her mother, Mary Shugert Curry (1993), brothers, John Patrick Curry (2011), and Michael Bruce Curry (2013), and her favorite uncle, Joseph Bartholomew (2014).
She is survived by one brother, Daniel Lee Curry (Niles, Michigan), one sister, Elizabeth Ann Smith (Tarpon Springs, Florida) and many nieces and nephews including Michael Davis Curry and Daniel P. Curry (both of Tucson, Arizona).
A Rosary will be recited at Most Holy Trinity Church 1300 North Greasewood Road in Tucson on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 4:30pm followed by a Catholic Mass at 5:00pm. She will be buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery on the campus of the University of Notre Dame, Notre Dame, Indiana.
