Mary Katz's Obituary
92, of Tucson died on July 13, 2014. She was born on February 14, 1922 in Lansing, Michigan. After she graduated from Lansing Eastern High School, she moved to Flint, Michigan. She lived in Flint until 1985 when she moved to Tucson. Mary was very active. She loved to golf, bowl, and play with her dogs. Known for her baking skills, her desserts were simply the best. She attended Pima Community College for her love of learning; participated in the Silver Sneakers workout program; and volunteered at Tucson Medical Center for 20 years in their gift shop. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her daughters Marcia Katz (Tucson) and Ellen Katz (Phoenix). Donations in her honor can be made to Emerge Center for Abused Women and the Southern Arizona Food Bank. Graveside services 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 15, 2014, Congregation Or Chadash Section of EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.
