Mary Anne Morris' Obituary
Mary Anne Morris passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 80. She was a sensitive, intelligent, and loving person.
Born in St. Paul, MN, she moved to Tucson as a child with her parents, John and Elizabeth Keiter and 5 siblings. She graduated from Salpointe HS, and remained in Tucson throughout her life. In 1964 she married John Boehm, and is survived by their two children, Kathi Daniel and Joe Boehm.
She worked in dentistry throughout the 70’s, and from the 80’s onward devotedly helped many people to navigate an exit from the darkness of addiction. She married Allan McCune in 1977 and was widowed in 1993. She was married to Bob Morris in 1996, with whom she shared many happy years until his death in 2021.
She is also survived by 7 beloved grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was steadfast in her Catholic faith during her whole life. She was funny, loved to sew, and made extraordinary lasagna.
There will be a burial service for family next week. All who knew her are invited to celebrate Mary Anne’s life at a memorial mass and reception at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 13th.
