Maureen Hall Daly's Obituary
Maureen Hall Daly, of Tucson, AZ, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021, at the age of 53.
She was born on June 10, 1967 in Carmel, CA to Paul and Maureen (Kenny) Daly. As the youngest of five children in a military family, Maureen lived in locations across the United States, settling as an adult in Tucson.
Maureen was a creative, free spirit who loved being with and helping people. This people focus was the core of her career – early on as a cosmetologist and later in the field of customer service. She enjoyed crafting using many mediums and shared that passion teaching craft classes for children and making gifts for friends and family.
Preceded in death by her mother, Maureen, and her fiancé, Ron Fletcher, Maureen is survived by her loving father, Capt. Paul S. Daly, Sr. USN, retired (Ellie) of Goodyear, AZ; siblings, Judy Daly of Goodyear, AZ; Col. Paul S. Daly, Jr., USAF, retired (Melissa) of Rio Rancho, NM; Susan Land (Gary) of De Soto, TX; and Lt. Col. John J. Daly, USMC, retired (Cynthia); her son, Chris Marfechuk of Lakefield, MN and her dear friend, Robert (Bob) R. Johnson, Jr. Maureen also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and extended family in Massachusetts including her aunts, Elizabeth Daly and Madeline Daly.
Moe – you left us too soon and we will miss your giving spirit, gift of gab and bit of the blarney! Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
A private family celebration of Maureen’s life will be held at a future date. Memorial contributions in Maureen’s name may be made to the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
