Max Goldstein's Obituary
Max Goldstein, 95, born August 1, 1916, a longtime resident of Tucson, died Friday, June 15, 2012. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Yetta, he is survived by his devoted and loving daughter Joan Goldstein. Mr. Goldstein was a proud member of the US Army where he attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. A WW II veteran, Mr. Goldstein was under the command of General George Patton during the Battle of the Bulge and was a Silver Star and Bronze Star recipient for gallantry in action. Mr. Goldstein was a supervisor for the US Post Office for many years until his retirement. A Graveside Service will be held, Wednesday, June 20, 2012, 9:00 AM, at EVERGREEN CEMETERY, with Rabbi Joseph S. Weizenbaum officiating. Memorial contributions to any US Veterans Organization in Mr. Goldstein's memory would be appreciated. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY, N. Oracle Rd. & Miracle Mile.
