Maxine Greenberg's Obituary
Mrs. Maxine Carol (Baer) Greenberg passed away March 22, 2025 at the age of ninety-eight (98). She was the daughter of Max Baer and Carolyn Seigel Baer born May 26, 1926. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents; her three brothers Jerome, Harold, and Bernard Baer; her husband of fifty-three years, Milton Greenberg; and her son Alan B. Greenberg. Maxine is survived by her daughter Eve Greenberg and Eve’s husband Jim Lewandowski; her son David Greenberg and his wife Ann Greenberg; six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
Maxine was born in Grand Rapids Michigan, and after marrying Milton resided in Massachusetts where she was a homemaker. Upon Milton’s retirement in 1987 they moved to Tucson Arizona. Maxine enjoyed volunteering, bowling, and a good game of mahjong. She will be missed by her family and her close friends in Tucson and around the country.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 12:30 pm, Evergreen Mortuary and Cemetery in Tucson, AZ. Mourners may contribute, in memory of Maxine, to the American Heart Association or Hospice of the Valley in Tucson Arizona or to a charity of their choice.
