My beautiful ride or die.
I want to thank you for the many years of friendship we shared. Between 13 and 14 years old, our journey together began. Running the streets in Bloomington. Our bond has been unbreakable forever. Even though we didn't talk every day, when we got on the phone, it felt like we'd never missed a beat, having our kids close together and always lifting one another in the midst of our chaotic lives.
The morning I received the phone call, my heart sank, and I didn't want to believe my phone would never ring again, and that your number would never pop up. My heart is devastated knowing I will never get a phone call from you ever again, or updates on how your grandbabies are doing and how happy they make your heart feel.
I promise to keep your memory alive, to love your babies, and to be a safe place for them at all times. Today, I know you are rejoicing in heaven, free from struggles. Please continue to watch over all of us because we need your strength!
