Melvina Lee Balk's Obituary
Balk, Melvina Lee passed from life on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 after a long battle with polysythemia. She recently moved from her home in Tucson to Virginia Beach, VA to be near family. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a major in journalism and was an active member of Alpha Epsilon Phi. Melvina loved reading, bridge, and playing board games with her grandchildren. Services will be held Friday, October 5, 2012, 1:00 P.M. at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N. Oracle & W. Miracle Mile. Interment to follow Evergreen Cemetery. As a member and past president of the congregation, Melvina asked that in lieu of flowers, friends make donations to the Balk Memorial Camp Fund through Congregation Beth David at 19700 Prospect Road, Saratoga CA 95070.
