Michael Andrew Brandibur's Obituary
Mike A. Brandibur passed away, at the young age of 70, in November, 2025. Born and raised in a small town in Michigan, Mike was 1 of 7 siblings. He was Tri-captain of the high school football team and married his high school sweetheart a little after graduating. Mike moved his wife and family to Tucson, Arizona, for the weather and it became his home for over 40 years. He was a husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by Donna, his wife of 50 years, son Martin, daughter Amanda, daughter-in-law Wendy and grandson Fox.
Mike was a strong soul, all the way to the end. He lived life to his fullest, from being a Plant Supervisor and Grade 2 Water Operator for Tucson Medical Centers Power Plant to the number one golfer in his Tiger Woods video game. He loved Southern Arizona, where he could go hunting and fishing, enjoy 18 holes at several different golf courses, and attend any and all model train shows. He loved to travel and was able to see many different National parks, including the Grand Canyon and Glacier National Park. But mostly he enjoyed the peace and quiet of his home, where he could sit on the porch with a cup of coffee and look at the mountains, his favorite part of Arizona.
Mike never gave up and tried so hard to be the best person and be present for his family and his extended family. He loved and was loved by so many people, he will be missed. We will miss his goofiness, his fun little sayings, and his wonderful, deep laughter that was contagious. He is now on another adventure, playing card games with his mom and dad, and enjoying late night talks around a fire pit with some really great friends.
Till we meet again, we love you and miss you.
