Dr. Michael Victor Goldman's Obituary
Dr. Michael Victor Goldman, age 78, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Thursday, February 1, 2024 after a courageous battle with Lewy body dementia and Parkinson’s disease.
Born December 11, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, he was a graduate of the University of Detroit Dental School where he was selected by the faculty for the highest honor a dental graduate could receive - Omicron Kappa Upsilon Academic Honor Society. He also received the highest clinical award, Cadarette Achievement in Clinical Dentistry Award. He received his Masters of Science degree in Orthodontics from Loma Linda University in California. In 1996, Dr. Goldman received a Masters in Public Health degree from the University of Arizona.
After moving to Tucson, Arizona in 1974 with his wife, Gloria, he opened an orthodontic practice which thrived for over 45 years. He was universally loved by the Tucson community for both his professional and philanthropic presence.
Dr. Goldman enjoyed tennis, skiing, spending time with friends and family and travelling the world. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Gloria Goldman, children Maurice “Mo” and Larissa Goldman and their spouses Amy Goldman and Marla Carmona, grandchildren Jacob, Sarah, Ira and Emma.

The family will be sitting Shiva at the home of Michael and Gloria Goldman, 6919 N. Gleneagles Dr., Tucson, Arizona 85718 on Sunday February 4th through Tuesday, February 6th from 5:30 until 8 p.m.
