Mike enjoyed when we hiked in the desert as a class. He enjoyed art at his young age. Always smiling! I was in my early 20's and first learned of Prater-Willie's Syndrome by knowing him. This motivated me to go back to university, get an education degree, work in schools and eventually social work.
It is a blessing to view his memorial on YouTube and see how much he was truly loved and the large contributions and legacy he left in the world.
I was Michael's teacher for a year at Chazen Institute in 1975-76.
He was sweet and tried his best to fit into an unkind world.
