Milton D. Kaufman's Obituary
Milton D. "Milt" Kaufman, 85, died on June 2, 2012. He studied at the University of Chicago and received a degree in business administration from Roosevelt University In Chicago. He was the marketing vice-president of a residential real estate company In the Chicago area, having co-founded the city of Woodridge, Illinois in the 1950's. In Tucson, he founded and owned Westview Realty, Inc, a hotel brokerage firm at which he worked until the day he was hospitalized with his recent illness. Milt had many dear friends in Tucson who will miss him. He and his wife, Marilyn, recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary after living 30 years in Tucson. They have three children; Jay (Karen) Kaufman of Northbrook, IL, Andi Kiva of Atlanta, GA., and Shelley (Thomas) Bell of Westminster, CA; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Kaufman, Chad Lennon, Sarah Kaufman and Jason Bell. Two of his five siblings survive him: Violet Perlmutter of Tucson and Dr. Gene Kaufman of Palos Verdes Estates, CA. Services were held Sunday, June 3, 2012, in EVERGREEN CEMETERY, Temple Emanu-El section. Memorial contributions may be made to Temple Emanu-El or to Autism Speaks, in memory of Milton D. Kaufman.
