Milton Silverman's Obituary
Milton Silverman was born July 17, 1917 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on March 25, 2017 in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 99. He married Shirley Silverman in 1950 and had 59 wonderful years of marriage. He was an outstanding father to his children, Kenny and Gale; father-in-law to Moira and Jason; and grandfather to Michael, Sara, Bobby, and Alex. He was the ultimate autodidact and mentor and loved learning, teaching, and sharing new things. He was especially proud of being able to work with his son in the insurance business. Milton exemplified a man of tremendous intellect and compassion and had a wonderful sense of humor. He will be missed tremendously. A private service was held at Temple Emanu-El on Sunday, March 26, 2017 with Rabbi Samuel M. Cohon officiating. The family requests that donations in honor of Milton be made to the Community Food Bank or Temple Emanu-El. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY.
