SHELLAND, Mirelda Lorraine (Dolly), of Oro Valley, AZ, born September 9, 1931 in New Auburn, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2024. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, James Robert Shelland. Devoted mother of Wanda Lee (Roger) Bailey of AZ; Dear sister of Doris Loftus (MN), Donna Berg (MN), and Ronald Halvorson (WI); Proud grandmother of Jon (Kyla) Vevia (OR), David (Jessica) Vevia (CA), and Kristina Vevia (SD); Also survived by great grandchildren Gibson Vevia, Annabeth Vevia, Riley Vevia, and Adam Anguiano; Preceded in death by great granddaughter, Ella Vevia.
Mrs. Shelland graduated from Colfax High School in Wisconsin and began her career as an Executive Secretary. After the birth of her daughter, she dedicated herself to being a full-time homemaker. She loved home decorating, was a talented seamstress, and was known by her friends and family as a great cook. She and her husband spent most of their working years in California before retiring to Arizona.
She will be interred at Evergreen Cemetery in Tucson, AZ.
