MYRTLE JUNE PERKINS-SCHUBERT
Age 85, resident of Green Valley, passed away on July 30, 2015. Myrtle was born in Elliston, KY, daughter of the late Marshall and Dora (Meadows) Roberts. She is survived by her devoted son and daughter, Robert (Patty) Perkins and Betty Jo (Bernie) Allred. She was the proud grandmother of George Perkins, Robyn Banegas, Mary Murphy and step grandchildren, Brian and Barbara Allred. Her great great grandchildren, Ian Perkins, Alonda Perkins, Isaac Perkins and Amber Perkins caused a sparkle in her eye. Myrtle was predeceased by her beloved husbands, George W. Perkins and Robert Schubert. She was the last of five brothers and three sisters. Myrtle was a Christian woman and faithfully trusted God in all areas of her life, even when she dealt with breast cancer. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her and cared for her, especially those that God chose to cross her pathway. Myrtle was a very special lovely, companionate woman that only God could have made. She loved gospel music. A Memorial Service will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Green Valley Baptist Church, 1111 S. LaCanada Drive, Green Valley with Pastor George Perkins, officiating. Burial will follow in EVERGREEN CEMETERY, Tucson. Don’t grieve for me. God set me free.
