To Family and Friends of Nora,
My sympathy to each of you on the loss of your dear sister and friend. I knew Nora through my sister Juanita. She and Juanita were close friends and she was of our family for many years. Nora was very intelligent, wise, generous, kind and helpful. I think she would have given the shirt off her back to someone, if they needed it. One of my favorite things that Nora said was "To go make some memories". I have thought about that ever since. I admire and appreciate all her service to the military and our country. She was a very strong and capable woman. I am thinking of and praying for you at this sad time.

I never got the privilege to meet Nora in person but I got to know her through my daughter Laura Brown. Nora was there for Laura when she most needed someone and I could not be there. I have always admired Nora for who she was, a fantastic caring and loving person.
She is with God now and no longer in pain. My heart goes out to family and other friends.

Nora saved my life 11 years ago and has always been my rock. My favorite memory is of her telling me "Charlie likes you" when her beloved late orange tomcat jumped in my lap for the first time. Nora helped me find my independence and become the woman I am today. She helped me make friends whom I treasure...Juanita, Dale, Jean, and her sister Margie who helped me overcome my fear of Pitt bulls with Bo, Babe, and Buddy. She spoke to me often of her family. I offer my sincerest condolences to her sisters Elizabeth and Margie and to Juanita, Mike, Dale, Jeannie, and if I left anyone out I don't mean to. I will always carry Nora in my heart. I miss her so much!
