Paddy was my niece and my little sister and I loved her dearly. She was a link to Henry who loved her as well. She had many special qualities, but most of all I admired her deep integrity. She could be whimsical and funny, but most of all she was genuine- unique, artistic and a repository of love for her family with room left over for her elderly aunt. I hope that all the dream catchers will waft her to rest with the angels. I think of Henry and Anne every day and remember all the good things we had together. I will always love Paddy and she will be in my heart and thoughts forever.
Paddy and Ed and Ray and I met late in life through the Arizona State Museum. She pestered me until we joined the Friends of Collections, promising good times and good friendships. She was right! We learned so much from her and always enjoyed her and Ed's hospitality, beautiful home, and wonderful collections. We all miss her and her giving ways so much. Here's to you Paddy...you'll live long in our hearts.

Paddy was at first a neighbor and then became a dear friend with whom I enjoyed the times we spent together. Paddy and Ed and I and my husband Gary shared many a meal and numerous card games. Our first Christmas in Tucson our sons could not visit because of bad weather. I was broken hearted but Paddy invited us to share her tradition of her soup kitchen on Christmas day. I am unspeakably sad and will have many fond memories of Paddy.
Paddy was my junior-year roommate at Boston University. I have such a fond memory of spending Thanksgiving weekend with her family and seeing the pre-Broadway New Haven try-out of Sound of Music. I still have a beautiful scarf that Paddy brought back for me from her trip to Florence. I was honored to be a bridesmaid at her wedding. So grateful for her relatively recent trip to Philadelphia with Ed and our warm reunion. Paddy was brave and true, and she was a woman of great elegance.
I have wonderful memories of Paddy and feel blessed to have had her as a friend, however briefly. My favorite memories are of our Sunday morning visits to estate and junk sales (50% off day!) where we always found some treasure. I will miss her enormously.
Sending love from the Connecticut side of the Schwarnstein Family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time! May Grandma Paddy rest in peace! xxooo
She was a wonderful lady. A "class act." Rest in peace, Paddy.
