Paul W. Morris' Obituary
Paul W. Morris was born July 4, 1932 in suburban Philadelphia in the depths of the depression and was the only child of Paul and Mary Morris. Paul's early years were in Chester, Pennsylvania and his father worked for the Sun Oil Company.
Paul Morris Graduated from Chester High School and was accepted by the University of Michigan. Paul worked five summers at Sun Oil and then transferred to University of Pennsylvania in 1952. Taking 24 credits a semester to graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics at the Wharton School of Economics. After graduation, Paul enlisted in the US Navy for Naval Aviation Training. Paul received his "Wings of Gold" which included carrier training. For 2 years, Paul was involved with surveillance assignments in Japan and Asia. After leaving the military, Paul worked for IBM for three years in New York followed by Imperial Chemical Industry (ICI) for 24 years advancing to General Manager of Information Service. Paul was recruited by Quantum Chemical as Corporate Vice President of Information Systems Technology with world wide responsibilities. Paul retired to Tucson in 1994. Paul had been active with the Association of Naval Aviation, Naval League and Pima Council of Aging.
