Peter Michalegko's Obituary
Peter Michalegko October 1, 1921 June 29, 2012 90, preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Jane, survived by his children, Linda (Martin) Stickley, Michael (Sally) Michalegko, Peter (Cecilia) Michalegko; six grandsons, Matthew, Christopher, Quinton, Gavon, Daniel, Alejandro and brothers, Charles (Tene), Paul, and Nick (Judy). All services will be held on Thursday, July 5th at St. Ambrose Church, 300 S. Tucson Blvd. with visitation at 10: a.m., Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Knights of Columbus Council 1200, Vocation Fund, 601 S. Tucson, Blvd, Tucson, AZ 85716. Peter's greatest love was his beloved wife, Mary, children, and grandsons, closely followed by his passion for living the outdoor life of fishing, hunting, teaching his skills to his loved ones, and sharing his prized catches. He took great pride as a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree Knight, and serving our country (WWII) as a Marine, Semper Fi! We ALL will deeply miss you; you are forever in our hearts. May God bless you and keep you in HIS care. A special "Thank you" to the staff of the AZ Homestead "Mesquite House" who cared for our Dad during this past year.
