Phillip Gee's Obituary
Phillip Gee (Nguey Gim) was born December 8, 1918 in Canton, China. Passed away February 11, 2012 in Tucson at 93. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II, and prior to retirement, owned and operated a grocery store in Tucson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hom Bo Gee and a son, George Gee. Survived by his wife, Pik Yuk Shum-Gee of Tucson; four children, Gloria (Allen) Lew of Tucson, Geraldine Hom of Glendale, AZ, Gordon (Stephanie) Gee, Grant (Gloria) Gee; daughter-in-law, Joyce Gee all of Tucson; stepson, Tam Chan Yiu of Hong Kong; three brothers, Robert Gee of Monterey Park, CA, Victor and Dudley Gee of Tucson; five grandchildren, Christopher Gee, Leslie (David Charo) Gee, Teddy Hom, Ryan Gee and Derek Gee; great-granddaughter, Emily Gee Charo. Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM, EVERGREEN MORTUARY. Interment will follow in EVERGREEN CEMETERY. Visitation will be on Friday, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Arrangements by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.
