Phyllis Nancy Fassler's Obituary
Phyllis passed away on August 31, 2022. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Jordan, and survived by her children Elise Konigsberg (Neil) and Eric Fassler (Darla Klokeid), her grandchildren Emily, Lia, Annie (Jonah), Molly, and great-grandchild Simon. After raising her children, Phyllis had a long career in women’s retail clothing. Anyone who knew her knew that it was something she was passionate about. Phyllis was also very involved in the Tucson Jewish community being active in Sisterhood, Anshei, Brandeis, and president of Hadassah.
But of all the things we know about Phyllis, most unmistakable were her “joie de vivre,” never wanting to slow down, and experiencing all that life had to offer. And part of what life had to offer and what she most lived for was the many people that called Phyllis a friend, a partner in crime, and someone who could always be counted on to help in your time of need.
Phyllis, in a word, was irrepressible.
