Ray Allen Crane's Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of life-long Sierra Vista local, Ray Crane. Ray passed away at home with his wife by his side and surrounded by loved ones on August 11th.
Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, in 1955, he moved frequently as a military son until finally settling in Sierra Vista, where he lived the rest of his life. Ray recently retired from the Base Operations Contract on Fort Huachuca and was beloved by all who knew him. His pride in helping those around him was only matched by his humor, loving demeanor, and unmatched selflessness. He and his character will forever be appreciated and missed by all of the lives he touched.
Ray is survived by his wife, Linda, and her three children, Robert, Daniel, and Alishea. His daughter Melisa Crane, his mother Ursula Crane and his siblings Glenn Crane, Ange Figueroa, and JoAnn Lawson.
Ray was Preceded in death by his father Maynard Ray Crane, an Army Veteran. And his sister Pamela Lee.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be greatly appreciated to assist with the planning of a celebration of life Memorial, as Ray wished. Details will be announced at a later date.
