Mr. Romero was my principal many years ago. He was kind and a great leader. He will be remembered positively always.
Richard and I were married 53 years. Our marriage was full of many happy years, hard times and hungry years that taught us so much. We worked hard and both had careers that we loved.
Our sons were a blessing that enhanced our lives. It was a life full with soccer, baseball, football practice and games. Richard and I both were our son’s biggest supporters and fans.
Our faith in God provided us both with assurance of eternity, of God’s faithfulness, and His amazing grace and love.
Richard slowly changed, shedding the pull of the world, and becoming a soul winner. He was such a kind person. Richard would literally take the shirt off his back for anyone. He cared so much for the poor, the needy and the lost. Richard was a wonderful example of kindness to my son’s and me. He’s resting now, but most importantly is that Richard is face to face with Jesus. We will miss him dearly.

Richard was my first Principal, and was the only Principal in the district that welcomed me as a student teacher that year. I fell in love with Bonillas, and loved working for Richard. I deeply missed him after he retired, and will continue to miss him with all my heart. May his memory be a blessing to all who loved him. 💜

Richard was a dear friend of Rudy and myself. We served Our Lord together. We will miss you but we will meet again in Heaven someday!!
