Rick L. Pintor's Obituary
Rick L. Pintor (59) passed away peacefully at home on October 28, 2019, surrounded by family. He was born December 02, 1959 in Douglas, AZ. He leaves behind Nellie, his loving wife of 33 years. Rick fought a courageous battle against neuroendocrine carcinoma.
Rick was a very loved brother of his Christian faith at Northside Church of Christ. He was a devout Christian who lived by example. Those who knew him understood he lived by those examples. Together with his wife, he inspired his children, grand-children, siblings, and family to achieve a happy and successful life. Rick always made people feel individually special.
Rick, for many years, was known for his Churro business. His father, Modesto, taught him to take pride in making churros. Rick was well known for his delicious churros all over Tucson and throughout Arizona.
He worked at Radio Shack for over 20 years. He developed long-time friendships with many of his customers. He worked briefly at ITT Tech. Most recently he was employed at Citibank and, once again, developed good friendships. He was a good, hard worker and always there for anyone, anytime he was needed. Rick loved music, enjoyed playing guitar, and loved classic cars. His most loved thing to do was spending time with his grandkids.
Rick is survived by his wife Nellie; his children Elias, Elizabeth, Tracy, Eric, and Ricky Jr.; his parents Modesto & Lily; his siblings Joe, Ernie, Diane, Oscar, Bobby, Johnny, and Michael; the Bernal Family Rocky, Poncho, Lola, George, and Lily; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by Heraclio & Connie Bernal.
Rick was truly a wonderful person. He will surely be missed.
