I send my sincerest condolences to Ellen Brooks, Dr. Brooks lovely wife.
I just learned of his passing yesterday. I am really sad I missed his memorial a year ago. I am so sorry I did not hear about his passing.,
After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2002 I was referred to Dr. Brooks. The BEST referral ever. After chemo and double mastectomy, Dr. Brooks delighted me with his sense of humor, compassion and kindness. He was so devoted to his patients. I did not have time to feel sorry for myself in anyway, as Dr. Brooks reassured me over and over that I would be okay and live to have many more years. Words cannot express my gratitude and love for this man who helped so many of his patients through the scariest time of life.
That he passed away due to cancer is one of the great ironies of life.
What a huge loss for so many of us. I pray that Ellen and the children are doing okay. What a doctor, what a man. Will never forget him.
