Roma Evelyn Vanduzer's Obituary
In the early hours of May 31st, 2025 Roma Evelyn Vanduzer passed away, sitting in her favorite seat, reading a book. She was 91 years old. She was born November 21st, 1933 in Johannesburg, South Africa. She was a remarkable woman. Loosing her sight as a toddler and eventually loosing her hearing didn't detour her. She loved music, reading, traveling, knitting and a good bottle of wine. A faithful member of the Catholic church, one could find her at Mass every Sunday sitting in the front row of the Cathedral. She will be missed.
Roma was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anne Escojido, her brothers Chamberlain Tom, William, Frank, and Richard of South Africa, her sisters Beatrus of Australia and Ester Jordan of California, her son Richard Gaisford of Florida and her loving husband Donald Vanduzer.
