Ronald Dean Moss' Obituary
Ron was a man of tremendous faith & went peacefully home to be with the Lord on May 30, 2018. He was born July 31, 1939 in South Lafayette Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. As a child, he later moved with his family to New Jersey, and then to Phoenix, AZ at age 17 where he worked his way up to Manager at Mountain Bell, met his wife Liz, retired & moved to Dewey, AZ. Ron had a genuine love for God, his family, his church community at Prescott Church of the Nazarene & his neighbors. Ron was also a passionate gardener. His love for the outdoors was evident to anyone passing by his yard. Many stated that Ron was their very first friend they met because he was always outside working in his yard or garden & was friendly to everyone who passed by. Because he was usually outside several hours a day, he ended up with a lot of friends! He would also help others in his neighborhood who needed a hand with yardwork & thoroughly enjoyed morning coffee with his Buddies. Before he became ill, Ron began each day reading the Word of God to Liz & the faith they gained through their walk with Christ gave the family more peace in what lied ahead for Ron in the following year. Ron & Liz recently moved to Tucson, so Liz could be closer to her children. Ron is survived by his wife of 38 years, Liz. 2 daughters Terry (Louis Trinidad) Fillipi and Kathy (Danny) Damours. 3 step children, Stan (Sara Harper) Posey, Clay Posey, Lori (Jeff) Edwards. 14 grandchildren, Amy (Santy) Singpradith, Brandon Mulloy, Chris (Jenn) Damours, Jeremy Damours, Joshua (Jorge Vergara) Damours, Casey Posey, Taylor Posey, Kendra Posey, Caleb (Victoria) Keener, Jessica (Aaron) Harris, Zachary (Reanna) Keener, Brenan Edwards, Carson Edwards & Jaden Edwards. 7 great grandchildren, Emily, Tyler, Levi, Devin, Audra, Sawyer & Aria Lyn.
A private celebration of Ron’s life will take place with family.
