Rose Louise Janis' Obituary
Rose Janis passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the age of 93. She was born on December 2, 1932, in Glendive, Montana, and lived a life centered around love, family, hard work, and caring for others. On December 24, 1951 , she married the love of her life, Raymond Janis, beginning a beautiful journey together filled with family, laughter, and lasting memories. Together they built a large and loving family. She leaves behind an extraordinary legacy of love: she was a proud mother of eight, grandmother of 27, great-grandmother of 53, and great-great-grandmother of 16.
Reunited at last, Rose joins her beloved husband, Raymond, and five of her children who went before her. Though her family deeply mourns her passing, they find solace in the beautiful reunion taking place beyond our sight.
Rose was truly the heart of her family. She was hard-working, loving, strong-willed, and just a little ornery in the best possible way. Her quick wit, caring heart, and unwavering strength touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She never met a stranger and had a way of making people feel welcomed, loved, and important. Her impact extended far beyond her family. Through her kindness, generosity, guidance, and friendship, she leaves behind countless people whose lives were made better simply by knowing her. She created a legacy rooted in love, resilience, and family that will continue for generations to come.
Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons taught, and the love she gave so freely.
A memorial service will be held on June 9 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, at Evergreen Mortuary at 3051 N Oracle Rd Tucson Az and burial services taking place on June 10 at 10:15 AM at Holy Hope Cemetery 3555 N Oracle Rd Tucson Az.
