Rosemary Svoboda's Obituary
Rosemary Svoboda began the next phase of her incredible personal adventure on January 11th, 2018. Her physical age was 87; in spirit she was considerably younger.
She leaves behind three human daughters, one pudgy doggie child, and several canine and feline grandchildren. She is preceded on this journey by her parents, brothers, sister, and husband.
Rosemary-By-Day did all the typical older lady stuff: baking cakes & cookies, cooking wonderful meals for family & friends, and joyously yelling “YAHTZEE!” loud enough to be heard across the street. But when nobody was looking, Rosie was making plans to jump out of perfectly functional aircraft, conquer whitewater rapids, and drive vehicles on forest trails that would cause mountain goats to retreat in fear. If there were a Granny Roller Derby League, Rosie would have been the charter butt-kicker in charge.
Despite not being allowed around small children for fear of passing along her rowdy habits, Rosie would be most happy to have donations made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Best Friends Animal Society, or any progressive charitable organization not involved with Making America Great Again. After all, she was hardly a fragile flower in life and therefore has little need for flowers now.
