Rouford worked on the farm where I grew up. He was there to give assistance with the care of Heifer for Relief which began on our farm from 1944-1948. During that span of time 3600 heifers came to our farm and then were shipped out of the Port of Baltimore to Poland and Germany. Many fond memories of having lunch in the yard.
