I have a wonderful memory of Sally, besides working with her in Endo...it occurred at her class Founder's Ball right before graduation. I had taken Dr. Tannaz Malek to the "prom" that year, as she was and is a very good friend. When I was in the back of the ballroom getting drinks, Sally took my right arm in hers, Shira took my left arm, and Sally asked, "so Dr. M, what is this with you and Dr. Malek?" Shira said, "we want details!" Both of them flashed their beautiful smiles...I was taken back, but so touched that they cared enough to ask..it was just too cute. So, as I explained that she and I were just friends, Shira and Sally basically said, ok, whatever, but keep us posted. It was clearly one of the highlights of the Ball for me, and a memory I will treasure always.
My profound condolences to Sally's family and friends...Dr. Sally was indeed a difference maker in the lives of her family, friends and patients, all of whom loved her, and always will!
