Sam Wolsky's Obituary
Sam Wolsky, 91, passed away peacefully at Peppi's House on December 5, 2015. Sam was preceded in death by his beautiful wife Bobbie, and survived by his daughter Bari (Mark) Ross, his son David (Faye) Wolsky, and five grandchildren: Jacob, Aaron David, Adam, Jordan, and Rebecca.
Sam was born in Chicago IL in 1924. Shortly after his service in the Coast Guard, he married his beloved Bobbie. He owned a furniture and appliance business called Wolsky Brothers with his brother Nat, and later a catalog showroom in Chicago called Oak Supply. In 1994 Sam and Bobbie retired and moved to Tucson to be near their children. Sam was a happy, caring person, adored by all who knew him. He was passionate about music, Judaism, sports and politics. Bobbie and Sam had an incredible marriage of 62 years.
His funeral services will be held in the chapel at Evergreen Mortuary, N. Oracle & W. Miracle on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 2:00pm. The family asks that donations be directed toward Leukemia/Lymphoma Association, Peppi’s House, or Anshei Israel.
