I never had the chance to know Scott well. By the time he and Janet married, I had moved far away and our encounters were rare. What I did know was how happy he made Janet and the rest of her family. When he and Janet were apart, he always took the time to call her and send her gifts, even if she was away for only a few days. The look in her eyes was all I needed to know what a good man and husband he was. The love he had for the rest of the family was obvious too. He and Lorin were the best sons-in-law Aunt Win and Uncle Neil could have hoped for. They were so proud to have him in the family. And he, of course, really was the best uncle ever, and anyone who tries to dispute that will be in for quite an argument from his nieces and nephews. I am so blessed that Scott was able to enrich the lives of those I love, and thus enrich mine also. My heart aches for his family. Love you.
