Sergio Aldecoa's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Sergio Miguel Aldecoa announce his sudden passing on Saturday January 25, 2025 at the age of 43.
Sergio was born October 06, 1981 in San Manuel, AZ to his loving parents Mike and Martha Aldecoa. He is preceded in Death (2000) by his Father. Survived by his daughter Briseis (Michelle), son Teo (Paula), mother Martha Aldecoa, sisters Melissa (Robert) Valdez and Danithza (Alex) Castro, nieces Melania, Mia, Adrina, and nephew Jordan.
Sergio grew up in Tucson, AZ and attended Marana High School where he earned a baseball scholarship to El Paso Community College. During his time in El Paso Sergio led the conference in multiple categories, capping off his college career by winning Western Junior College Conference Offensive Player of the Year!
As good of an athlete as Sergio was, he was an even better person. He had the ability to connect with anyone. Sergio’s passion for people was second to the love he had for his two beautiful children. Although Sergio left us way too soon, it was amazing to see his growth during his final chapter. He will be missed by everyone who loved and appreciated his beautiful soul.
