I just learned Shannon passed away last year and my heart is heavy. She was one of those people who could turn the most random moments into something unforgettable. I will never forget the time we were laughing about long hair in the shower and how it slides down your back and somehow ends up everywhere. Instead of letting it go down the drain we joked about turning it into ‘wall art’ on the shower. It was ridiculous and we laughed so hard about it. That was Shannon though. She could make the most ordinary moment hilarious. She was only 46 and left behind a young man who still needed his mom. The world lost a bright light and she will be deeply missed.
