Shawn Graham's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Shawn Eric Graham announces his passing on July 30, 2019 at the age of 41.
Shawn earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Honors from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management in 2014 which was one of his proudest accomplishments. He was passionate about education and achieved his dream job at Pima Community College as Manager of the Pima for Youth program. His positions at the college include various held positions at the college including Admissions Counselor, Student Life Coordinator, support staff, student worker and volunteer. Shawn was an avid University of Arizona Wildcat fan and he was a loyal Dallas Cowboy fan. He was a natural musician who recorded and produced several songs. He began DJ’ing at the age of 11 and continued throughout most of his life. He was proud to be a part of the Tohono O’odham family and loved their Himdag. Shawn’s radiant smile and outgoing personality allowed him to cross paths with many whom he called friends.
Shawn will forever be remembered by his loving wife and best friend, Juanita Rose and their precious son, River Esau, by his parents Jon Michael (deceased) and Michelle Rene’ Napper, Elfigo and Lisa Graham, by his maternal grandparents, Oscar and Mary Flores, by his brothers and sisters, Jon Michael Napper II, Cory Ryan Barker, Elfigo Graham, Jr., Gilbert Graham, Amy Nicole Martinez, Cassandra Graham, by his close aunts and uncle, Margo (Don) Hill, Oscar (Anna) Flores, Marlene (Charlie) Ruiz, Francine (Joey) Ruiz, close nephews Daniel Jacob Alimena and Jackson Oscar Napper and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and close friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 9, at 4:00 p.m. at Pima Community College, Center for the Arts, 2202 West Anklam Road, Tucson, AZ.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 10, at 9:00 a.m. at Calvary Christian Fellowship of Tucson, 3850 N. Commerce Drive. Shawn will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery, 3015 N. Oracle Road, immediately following the services.
Pallbearers are Jon Napper II, Cory Barker, Gilbert Graham, Vincent Ruiz, Joseph Gomez, Albert Felix, Isaac Durgin. Honorary pallbearers are Oscar M. Flores, Joseph Ruiz, Charlie Ruiz, Donald Hill, Elfigo Graham, Jr., Ivan Felix, Cyrus Felix, Quincy Felix, Aaron Flores, Jeremy Flores, Julian Flores, Chuck Ruiz, Angel Lopez, Robert Lopez, BJ Saenz, Daniel Sanchez, Gary Antone and Michael Ross.
Shawn fought the good fight and was loved by many. We were blessed to have him in our lives and he will be greatly missed by all! Take comfort in knowing that he is in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
