Sherri Christina Hampton's Obituary
Sherri was a loving, warm soul with a heart of pure gold. For everyone that knew her, saw that she just radiated happiness. Every single person that walked through her door, no matter who they were, were made to feel like they were family and belonged there. She made being with her feel like home. Her warmth and compassion was shared unconditionally, especially at family gatherings. Her laugh was recognizable from miles and miles away and contagious to all who she came in contact with. Sherri was a strong woman and she had a knack for telling things as they were, but it was always appreciated because you knew she was right. Sherri's radiant smile and fun personality brought others much joy and happiness. The word light describes her in every way. People were drawn to her and her kindness. She left a light on for everyone so that they felt welcome. Sherri was an extraordinary woman, beautiful, kind, compassionate, and above all, loving. She and her husband Michael raised four wonderful children together who, like their mother, are loved by everyone they meet. She was a great mom and taught her kids how to respect others as she would expect no less of them. She was a beautiful example of unconditional love. She loved everyone. We know that Sherri would not want to be remembered as a person who was ravished by this horrible disease, she would want to be remembered as a whole person she was prior to this disease. Sherri leaves behind her husband Michael, her children Aleisshia, Michael, Sandraun and Timothy who were the apple of her eyes. Her grandson Amir, her mom Lorraine, her sisters Katie and Millie, numerous nieces and nephews, aunts/uncles and cousins. Her family and an endless list of friends who will always carry her in their hearts. We wish to say Thank you Sherri for all of the memories and we will forever hold dear in our hearts. We love you to the moon and back, to infinity and beyond, and forever and ever AMEN.
