Shirley Ann Cutler's Obituary
Shirley Ann Cutler resident of Tucson, passed away at home Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Her husband Bill was by her side along with her nurse from Casa de la Luz Hospice. She passed peacefully and painlessly thanks to hospice. The blessing was that she was able to get out of the hospital after three months in ICU, and spend her last days at home. Shirley will be deeply missed and was loved by all. She was a wonderful, kind loving person and wonderful wife, sister, and daughter. She dedicated her life to be truly helpful to other people. In addition to her beloved husband of 35 years, Bill, Shirley leaves a son, Gregory A. Wheeler of Phoenix, her father, Richard N. Christie of WA, a sister, Fran (Dan) Brookhouser of Tucson, a brother, Ted (Holly) Christie of WA. Shirley was the proud aunt of Elani, Bailey, Alexis, Joshua, Skylar, Ricky and Gary. A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Friendly Village Estates Clubhouse, 1202 W. Miracle Mile, Tucson. In addition another memorial service will be held 6:00 PM, Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Elks Lodge, Wilcox Drive, Sierra Vista. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made in Shirley’s name to her favorite charity, The Gospel Rescue Mission, 707 W. Miracle Mile, Tucson, AZ 85705.
