Sidney Eisenfeld's Obituary
Sidney Eisenfeld, 89, of Overland Park, Kansas, formerly Tucson Arizona, passed away on September 29, 2025 surrounded by family.
Sid was born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1936. He earned an undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Education from The University of Arizona. He was an educator in the Tucson Unified School District for 32 years and later worked in their Technology Department after retirement.
He loved his family immensely and took great pride in his children and all of his grandchildren. He loved life and had a positive impact on everyone he met. He lived with courage and bravery as he fought through his illnesses. His impact was far and wide.
Sidney is survived by his wife Marylin Eisenfeld, daughters Essie Davis (Pat) and Devra Eisenfeld-Smith
(Steve), daughter-in-law Christine Eisenfeld, brother Jacob Eisenfeld, grandchildren Kaitlin Eisenfeld, Tyler Eisenfeld, Shea Smith, Jillian Smith, and Colin Davis, and great grandson Scott Eisenfeld. He is preceded in death by his son Scott Eisenfeld and granddaughter Jacqueline Davis.
Funeral service will be held graveside at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, Tucson, Arizona on October 6th at 8:30 a.m. Shiva will be held at the home of Essie and Pat Davis in Overland Park on October 12th at 3:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Kansas City or Children’s Mercy, Kansas City.
