Steve and I met as pioneering members of the Association of Personal Historians. He was always generous with sharing his expertise as a videographer and his enthusiasm for preserving stories, especially as word about this valuable service attracted newbies to our tribe.
After APH ended, it was a pleasure to follow what he was up to via his FB page. A highly talented man of integrity, is gone much, much too soon.
My cousin Steve always sent me an email or a text with “Cuz” as the heading, which I felt was a very personal and loving greeting toward me. So I started doing the same. As one of the younger cousins, he really made me feel important. I believe he made everyone feel that way because he showed people respect and genuinely cared about them and their family.
I could go on and on on how he mentored me but I will hold onto one thing, when i write “Cuz” to any of my cousins I will think of Steve. You will be missed Cuz!
Steve and I entered Seton Hall University at the same time in 1974 and we soon became friends at WSOU. Steve's creativity and comedic abilities were soon evident and laid the groundwork for his professional career. I will forever cherish my memories of Steve and send love to Halina and the rest of his family.

When Steven played the video interviewing his grandmother, I thought it was the most wonderful gift to her family - especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and future generations to see, hear & know her. I was excited to hear about his business. I was thinking about contacting him recently to make videos of me & my husband. His legacy reaches far beyond his own life.
