Stephen V. Smith's Obituary
Stephen V. Smith, 92, of Marana, passed away September 27, 2012. He was born in Fairview, Kansas, son of the late Stanley and Lulu (Meyer) Smith. He has resided here for 50 years. Stephen was first a salesman for the Smith Brothers Fence Company and later he and his wife ran what was known as the Tucsonita Hay & Feed Market. He leaves his beloved wife of 55 years, Helen M. (Roland) Smith; son, Scott W. (Lori) Smith of Marana and daughter, Diane (Jim) Ripley of Glendale. He also leaves 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a brother, Lawrence Smith of Tucson. Funeral services will be held 11 Am, Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at EVERGREEN MORTUARY, N Oracle & W Miracle Mile. Burial will follow in EVERGREEN CEMETERY. Friends may call at the mortuary on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of service. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Smith's name to Lord of Grace Lutheran Church, 7250 N. Cortaro Rd., Tucson, AZ 85743. Arrangements are by EVERGREEN MORTUARY & CEMETERY.
