Susan Luskin's Obituary
Susan Luskin Kaplan was born on October 15, 1919 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of Sam and Eleanor Kaplowitz who were immigrants from Russia. Susan was the 4th child in a family of 8 siblings. She moved to California after WWII, where she met Danny Luskin, an army veteran and the love of her heart.
Danny and Susan had two children; Sheryl and Len.
Susan worked for over 30 years for Los Angeles City School District. She was involved in many organizations with her synagogue, Adat Ari El.
She was an active member of the Synagogue Sisterhood, ORT, Bnai Brith Women, Hadassah, and National Organization of Jewish Women. She was a member of Mensa, Widow to Widow, Parents Without Partners, university Women.
After Danny died in 1968, Susan continued to work.
She met and Married Jack Englehart, after he died she moved to Tucson.
She met and married Dr. Sam Kaplan. They were married for 2 years before he passed.
Susan loved to dance, play piano and never met a person without them becoming a friend.
Children Sheryl Luskin Ginsberg (Michael) Len Luskin (Ginny); grandchildren Daniel Spencer (Jenny), Josh Spencer (Lesli) Jacob Luskin, step grandchildren Aaron Ginsberg (Judy) Adam Ginsberg; Great Grandchildren Jonah Spencer, Lilith Spencer, Connor Luskin, Nathan Ginsberg, Samson Ginsberg.
