Tami S. Challe's Obituary
Tami S Challe passed away into the presence of Jesus January 30, 2022. She was a loving and caring daughter, sister and aunt. She loved her family and was thrilled to be around them. She was also a "dog mom" to her rescue Boxer, Salli, with an "i".
Tami was born to Rodney and Donna Challe in Green Bay, Wisconsin on July 9, 1968. She is preceded in death by her father, Rodney Challe and her grandparents, Norman and Margaret Coppens and her grandmother, Barbara Vertz.
She leaves behind her mother, Donna Challe, her sister, Michelle Johns (Mike), her brother, Bryan Challe, along with her nephew, Justin Johns (Tara), and her three nieces, Brittni Challe, Mikayla Johns and Brook Reese (Dan).
Tami's family moved to Tucson, Arizona for her health when she was four years old. Tami attended Pima College and became a licensed Real Estate Agent. She then worked as a New accounts manager at Tucson Newspaper. Tami was an avid horseback rider. She loved riding her Appaloosa, her two Paints, and Arabian horses. She showed both English and Western Pleasure until the progression of her rheumatoid arthritis made it impossible. She bred Boxer dogs in addition to being a Boxer rescuer.
She was an avid reader of Christian authors and faithfully read and studied her Bible daily.
Not only was she in constant contact with her family but they had the honor of knowing she prayed for them daily. Tami's passing is a great loss to her family. But we are grateful she is no longer in pain and with the Lord she loved so much.
She is leaving a wonderful legacy of deep devotion to Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. We pray that we will emulate Christ in her and will try to follow in her footsteps of having incredible faith and living a life full of grace.
