Terri Korman's Obituary
Terri Korman passed away March 6th 2023. She is survived by her daughter Ashley, her siblings and her nieces and nephews Emily, Carly and Zachary Korman. She is predeceased by her parents Florence and Eddie Korman, Uncle and Aunt, Jack and Florence Schaps and her ex-husband Donald Applebee.
Terri was born on the Northside of Chicago on September 15, 1951, She attended Von Stuben High School and Northern Illinois University before relocating to Tucson, AZ in 1974. She taught for many years in the Amphitheater School District, notability at Coronado K-8 School teaching grades fourth to eighth, her favorite being 8th grade English. She eventually began working for Career Ladder at the district office for 10 years before retiring. She was involved in many education related activities throughout her career and after she retired notably hosting the spelling bee, serving as a problem captain for Odyssey of The Mind, and training new substitute teachers in the Amphi District.
All those who knew Terri are invited to the burial service that will be held on Sunday, March 10 at 1pm
at East Lawn Palms Cemetery.
The family request no flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, No Kill Pima County or Congregation Bet Shalom .
