Theda Geraldine Bruno's Obituary
93, Theda was born in Murphy, North Carolina January 20th 1925. She passed away in Tucson Arizona on April 21th 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years Dominick Tony Bruno. Together they had four children Joe, Richard, Karen, and Janet.
Theda lived most of her life in Akron Ohio, raising a family. When her husband Dominick retired they would spend their winters in Tucson Arizona. Theda would work with her daughter Karen at her 99 Cent Store. She loved being out with the public and communicating with the customers.
Theda lived and loved life, she had such a sweet nature about her. She was a wise woman. Anyone who ever met her loved her. Her family and friends appreciated her for the many meals and delicious Italian foods that she would prepare. All the grandchildren loved her for her peanut butter balls and her Oreo fluff.
Theda's favorite pastime all her life was playing cards. Even up to her final days she wanted to play cards.
Theda is mourned by her 4 children, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. And her much loved sister-in-law Helen Vaudrin of Edmonds, WA, by her many friends and the Staff at La Canada Care Center here in Tucson Arizona. Her love continues on in the hearts of all who loved her.
