Thomas Lynn Lamb's Obituary
Thomas Lynn Lamb was born July 6, 1949 to Thomas O. Lamb and Betty (Zorn) Lamb in Burlington, Colorado.
Tom attended school in Woody Creek, Colorado and Cody, Wyoming. He completed his public education in Burlington, graduating from Burlington High School with the class of 1967. Then he was off to college at University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, and Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
He moved to Idaho Springs, Colorado to work and be close to friends and family, working as an auto technician at the local garage. He also worked for Clear Creek County for several years.
Tom loved to hunt elk and deer, and snow ski in the mountains. He loved to hunt pheasant, water ski and fish on the plains. He was an avid and award winning trap shooter, making many friends and acquaintances along the way.
In 2005, Tom retired to Benson, Arizona and lived out his dream. He made many wonderful friends there and enjoyed the mild climate and desert landscape. His family and friends were very important to him.
Tom passed away on May 6, 2025 with family at his side at Banner University Health Center in Tucson, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his parents and a beloved sister, Judith K. Bollwinkel.
He is survived by his brothers, Michael L. Lamb (wife Catharine), and Mark Hillman (wife Heidi) of Burlington, Colorado. He leaves his nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly, and several cousins.
A private service will be held at a later date.
