Tim will be missed by many, many people across these United States. For me I have lost a very good man in my life,, he was more than a friend to me. He was the brother I always wished for. His helping hand reached out for me across time and distance more than once. I could list the times he did this for me but this would turn into a book listing all the things Tim has done for me through the years. From Kentucky to Waco Texas to Tucson Arizona and beyond Tim was there for me. I lost part of myself the day Tim died. I'm proud to have known him and privileged that he called me friend because if Tim called you "friend" he said it from the heart and meant it. There are not many men like Tim and they are hard to find and get to know. Tim long ago let me in the elite circle he called friends and I am a richer man for it. I morn the loss of Tim Monroe, not sad for Tim, for I know he has been released from the bonds of this world, but I morn selfishly for myself, and the Monroe family. I, as I know they too want him back................Oh, how I want him back, damn it I want him back...............................Tim took part of me with him that day I want him back.To Barry, Jeff, Sarah, Cindy, Wilma and the entire Monroe family I loved him like a brother and will miss him terribly.
Tim always treated me like a little sister by constantly picking and aggravating me. I am so very sorry for your loss to the whole family.
Tim could make Roger and I laugh so hard!!! In his teens he joined us on our travels with his dad's work in South Africa and Australia. On one of the flights overseas Tim was 17 I think and sitting away from us on the plane. We heard him try to order a alcoholic drink... they asked for his ID He said he didn't need or have one. She wouldn't serve him. And with embarrassment he tried to be indigent and said "Well I will never travel with this airline again!" Tim was anxious to get on his own as all Young teenagers do. We had just hoped he could spend more time with us in Australa.. He had a job offer but just wanted to spread his wings... wow look at the years that have flown by!
